Welcoming remarks, introduction to and familiarization with the trainin program,
division of the participants into two working groups

2:00 – 4:00 First Session (Two Working Groups) :
Session topics:
• Internal life of political parties
• Formulating internal democratic standards within the inner workings of the party.
• A review of international best practices with regards to selecting party candidates for general elections.

Group 2
Trainer:
Ahmed Farhat Al-Hamoudi Political Activist and Trainer in political communication techniques and party organisation, Tunisia.

4:30 – 6:30 Second Session (Two Working Groups) 
• Continuing the topic of formulating internal democratic standards within the inner workings of the party.

Day 2: Saturday 4th June 2022

10:00 – 12:00 Third Session (Two Working Groups) 
Session Topics:
• A review of the internal regulations of the political parties participating in the workshop. (Exercise)
• Determining the strengths and weaknesses of these systems in light of the conclusions and discussions from Day 1. (Exercise)
• Trainees will be asked to draft a report on the deficiencies in the rules of procedure within their parties and to make suggestions for their development to be submitted to the party leadership.

12:30 – 2:30 Fourth Session (Joint Session) 
• Presentation and discussion of the participants’ reports
