On Wednesday (5/16/2018), Al Quds Center for Political Studies (AQC), in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), carried out its fourth specialized training workshop focusing on improving political analysis skills. 25 members belonging to several political parties participated in the workshop.
The training was given by Dr. Muayad al-Wondawi, a former political advisor to the United Nations Information Analysis Unit (UNOPS-IRAQ) and a political advisor at the Iraqi Center for Strategic Studies in Amman.
The workshop focused on helping the members of the political party better analyze local and regional political developments, while enhancing their ability to "assess the situation" of local politics and formulate appropriate policies as well as offer alternative proposals considering a variety of developments.
Other things covered included the concept of political analysis, its structural composition and the conditions that require it, and various practical exercises on how to analyze politics and applied political models.
